Hi all,

Mediacorp Channel 8 will be launching a new programme called "Buffet Buffet". It is a half hour show which will be introducing buffets in Singapore.

For each episode, they will have tasters going down with them, who will further comment according to ambience, food variety, quality and service.

For that, they need tasters regardless of gender and age to join them.

Chris and Linda, two Shanghai-based Singaporean newlyweds find their lives turned upside down when Linda discovers she’s pregnant, and they can’t agree about whether to have the baby in Singapore or China.

Chris and Linda are a pair of newlyweds enjoying their stint as expats in Shanghai. Chris has a cosy job at an international school, while high-flying Linda has just been promoted to a managerial position.

When Linda discovers she is pregnant, the couple are conflicted about whether to have the baby in Shanghai or back in Singapore. Linda does not want to take a leave of absence from her job and insists on staying put in Shanghai, while Chris is adamant that the baby should be delivered in Singapore. So adamant, in fact, that he purchases their tickets home in advance without telling Linda.

What begins as a debate evolves into a major marital issue that is made worse by the surprise arrival of Linda’s mother, Siok Chern, whom Chris hates. He is shocked when Siok Chern actually agrees with him about having the baby in Singapore. Angry with the both of them, Linda moves out of the apartment she shares with Chris.

Will the three of them be able to find some middle ground … before it is too late?

Every artiste, like every other human being, ages. However, at the age of 26, Fiona Xie still looks young like a normal girl in her late teenage years.

We hope to see her on the screen more often in different roles, but that is up to her company's decision.

Fiona Xie is more towards English speaking and thus she may seem to be weaker in Mandarin. Despite this, she is heavily involved in hosting of MediaCorp shows and events; if a host cannot speak well, nobody would want to take the risk of ruining the events or shows by engaging her.

Do not worry about her acting skill, because she will eventually improve from good to better and finally, the best.

It would be good if she could find her true love and be indulged in the sweetness of a successful and loving man; and yes, it would be best if her future husband is rich. Most of her fans would be glad to see her in blessing.

Joleen receives flowers from a secret admirer on set. The others try to speculate who it could be from, investigating everyone from Manly Han (Julian Hee), the week's guest star to Woody to Hamsome to -- eww -- even Andy or Sanjay! They all shocked when they find out it is none of the above.

Little Bo Peep? More like Little Bo Sleep
I survive on very little sleep, like two or three hours on bad days. I'm a huge insomniac. I'm an expert at counting sheep. I've started to knit [with the sheep's wool], and I can open a sweater factory now.

Fighting the Z's
Sleepiness is a state of mind. The best way to deal with it? Copious amounts of Vitamin C - that's why I have Peel Fresh [fruit juice] on drip! I can't take coffee - I'll bounce off the walls.

This is a cool trailer for Episode 4 of Calefare.

Joleen uploaded this music video and caught the eye of a famous singer who invited her to sing backup with him!



Joleen is contacted by a famous local singer, who wants her to sing back up on his new album after seeing a music video she put up on YouTube. Joleen is elated, but there's only one problem -- Joleen didn't actually sing in the Youtube video, she was only lip-synching. With one day to go before the recording, the other Calefare try to turn Joleen into a real singer, concocting a strange and elaborate plan that involves Andy singing falsetto. Guest starring Jonathan Leong.
